Spring Willow Farm in Paris Corners, Wisconsin,
Will Host the 3rd Annual
“Spring Willow 100.”
Gala Dinner Benefits the Equine Treatment Program at
the University of Wisconsin - Madison School of Veterinary Medicine.
On Saturday evening, October 6th, exactly 100 guests will sit down to a formal dinner in the main aisle of Paris Corners’ Spring Willow Farm stables, while the Spring Willow horses enjoy their dinner nearby.
That’s the setting for the Spring Willow 100, a gala evening to benefit the Equine Medicine program at The University of Wisconsin’s School of Veterinary Medicine in Madison, Wisconsin. The evening will also include dancing to the music of Chicago’s Peter Oprisko and his band. The dance floor is situated within the farm’s 10,000 sf. indoor riding arena, under a fantasy canopy made up of 6,000 tiny Italian lights.
Spring Willow owners, Kathy and Bob Emery stated, “The UW - Madison Equine treatment facility is an amazing resource for animals in trouble. Our hope for this annual benefit dinner is to raise funds for the University’s new building campaign, and increase awareness for this outstanding equine resource throughout the Midwest. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to pay for a stall in the new treatment facility, which will be given in the name of the ‘Friends and Boarders of Spring Willow Farm.’ “Now, in its third year, the Spring Willow 100 hopes to complete its goal.
The evening will also include a silent auction and raffle. Last year’s prizes included a week’ s vacation at Marco Island’s Hilton Grand Vacation Club. Tickets for the benefit are $160, which includes a $20 raffle ticket. Those interested in attending should contact Kathy Emery at 262-878-1288.
The farm is located approximately 10 miles north of the Wisconsin / Illinois state line, four miles south of Union Grove, Wisconsin. The Spring Willow Farm website is www.SpringWillow.com.
